European Chemical Industry Council

CEFIC, the European Chemical Industry Council, is both the forum and the voice of the European chemical industry. It represents, directly or indirectly, about 40,000 large, medium and small chemical companies. CEFIC was incorporated in 1972 as an international association with scientific objectives. As an umbrella organization, CEFIC has established about 100 sector groups. One of these groups is the Peroxygens Sector Group. As one of the leading manufacturers, Evonik is an active member within this group.
